MET, Ryesgade

On Ryesgade 25, 2200 Copenhagen N, close to the lakes, you can visit MET, a lovely little coffee shop. When I visited it was only 21 days old.

The coffee I had was made with beans from Kontra Coffee. Their regular Kontra Espresso. The cup was from a local ceramist, Helle Kingbird, and a lovely addition to the coffee.

MET offers a variety of coffees, espresso, americano, cortado, flat white, cappuccino, latte, icecoffee, filter and pour over. In addition they also have the and hot chocolate. The prices are very resonable.

If you are hungry they are also ready to help you there. A variety of breed and sandwiches and some sweet stuff.

The interior is pretty simple and the colors are significant.

MET is run by Mette, Caroline og Thomas. They also do vegetarian catering for private and business. Their mission is to prduce great looking food. Something for the eye as well as for the stomach.

Go visit them!

Coffee Collective, Torvehallerne

Coffee Collective, Torvehallerne

Coffee Collective in Torvehallerne is one of my favorite coffee shops in Copenhagen. The Coffee is AWESOME!

Coffee Collective says following about their coffee shop: “At this spot, we have chosen to offer a menu limited almost solely to coffee drinks as we regard Torvehallerne being exactly that: Every single stall and its people specializing in and presenting exactly what it is we each do best. We hand brew on Kalita Wave and use the Fetco filter system for batch brew while espresso based drinks are made on our Spirit espresso machine.”

OH and during the summer they offer soft ice with espresso coffee. Lovely when it’s sunny and warm outside.

I often visit Coffee Collective when coming to Copenhagen. I often have informal meetings there. That way I can connect work and pleasure. I just love going there.

The bartistas are very friendly and can guide you to the perfect cup of coffee.

Coffee Collective is located in Torvehallerne close to Nørreport Train Station, Kongens Have and Ørstedsparken.

Café-Atelier-September

Café Atelier September is a cool, hip and no-nonsense coffee shop and café in the center of Copenhagen.

You can eat breakfast and lunch there. The selection for those two mealt are sparse but good. I had a the open-faced sandwich with avocado on rye bread. Lovely. The coffee I had with my sandwich was a cappucino brewed with Caturai bean from Costa Rica. Very tastefull and full bodied.

The latte art was’nt impressive, but I will always prefer a cup of great tasting coffee instead of great latte art. But I do love both.
